Blum participated in LA 2 OC Emphasis Extreme show held at the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art from July 3rd to July 25th. The show's curator was Jeff Alu and the opening reception was held July 18th. Christopher Robin Blum donated a piece of art to the benefit auction for Devin Hosselkus, a 24 year old local Reno artist diagnosed with a very rare type bone cancer. The "Studio of 4th Street" hosted the auction (May 3rd 2009) where the donated art sales went to helping Devin pay for his devastatingly high hospital bills.
